Our History

  • Extenteam started as a side-gig for Ari Eryorulmaz, who got into the vacation rental business by mistake back in 2010 while getting his undergrad degree. His biggest challenge? Finding dedicated, hardworking hospitality professionals locally, and managing recruitment, onboarding and payroll as his business grew. Ari hired his first remote team member from the Philippines in 2011. Over time, he realized that his labor challenges were shared by almost all of his fellow vacation-rental property managers.
  • But problem wasn’t just in the vacation rental sector. Across the property management industry, companies were chronically understaffed. Especially in administrative and support roles. And their staffing challenges were resulting in reduced revenue and profitability, while seriously hindering their ability to scale successfully.
  • In 2019, Ari signed his first Extenteam partner. Within 18 months, Extenteam had grown to 330 team members, and now serves more than 180 partners with world-class staffing support.
