America’s gig economy has been growing exponentially in recent years. In addition to traditional gig workers like artists and entertainers, there has been a proliferation of eGigs enabled by tools provided by tech companies. In the past 12 months, this trend accelerated significantly by the pandemic.

Renters are increasingly working from home, not only doing their main salary jobs but also vlogging and blogging on the side, hustling to get a secondary [in some cases primary] income through converting their rooms into “mini recording studios”.

This trend has increasingly sparked demand for larger rental units with a den/nook / or if possible an extra small room for tenants to convert to a small workspace that they can call their own.
